Film forces you to slow down, the fun from the analogue experience, the cost etc. You will have heard this all hundreds of times... and I agree.
But it is the imperfections and quirks that I most enjoy. It took a few rolls and plenty of mistakes before I learned to accept this. Now I embrace the out of focus dogs rushing towards my lens. The light leaks I tried and failed to patch. Even the time I popped open the rear of my camera, only to suddenly realise that I hadn't rewound the bloody film!
